Lydia is a Music Therapist, a Music Teacher, and a multi-instrumentalist based in Chicago. Receiving her bachelor’s from the University of Iowa, Lydia went on to train at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. There she honed her philosophy, adapting each session to encourage self-expression, individualize goals for personal growth, and benefit overall well-being.
Returning to the Chicago area with her MT-BC board certification, she worked with “kids from 1 to 92” to utilize the power of music for their personal and professional needs. Teaching a variety of instruments, she continues to provide opportunities for musical engagement to students of all walks of life.
