Sarah has enjoyed teaching music across the Chicagoland area since finishing her degree from Carthage College. With experience teaching music in a public school, leading after school choirs for nonprofits, and teaching private lessons, Sarah has a well-rounded approach and is comfortable working with a wide variety of students.
In her teaching, Sarah has a relaxed and warm demeanor. She loves to joke with students and connect with them on their current favorite movies, songs, shows, and other references in order to build solid relationships and create a lesson experience that is catered completely to the student. In keeping a warm rapport with students, Sarah hopes to instill a love for music making in every student.
When she’s not teaching, Sarah enjoys tending to the jungle of plants in her home or playing indie video games on the Nintendo Switch. If you need plant advice or video game suggestions, Sarah has you covered!
