A native of Springfield, Illinois, Mariah holds a master’s degree in music education from Rutgers University, and bachelor’s degrees in voice and psychology from Indiana University. At Indiana, Mariah performed in the operas La Traviata and The Last Savage while also singing with the University Singers choir.
For over five years, Mariah has taught private lessons in piano, ukulele, and voice. She loves incorporating imagination into music training to enhance self-expression. This combination of psychology and pedagogy results in a patient, nurturing approach, making Mariah a favorite with students of all ages and levels.
