Gabriel Ferguson

Piano

Gabriel started playing piano at age four and grew up loving music. He is originally from Port Huron, Michigan. Gabriel graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor of science and gave piano lessons to students of all age ranges throughout undergrad. He has received classical training in piano and is an avid improviser. He has released two albums, both comprised of improvisational piano solos. He is a student of the Music for Healing and Transition Program and is earning his certification to be a certified music practitioner.

Gabriel’s favorite part of teaching is being surprised by his talented students’ progress and development, and helping them to develop a true passion for music.

Outside of music, Gabriel enjoys reading and writing. He has an extensive recommended reading list and is interested in music history as well as classic literature. He also loves to travel.
