Charlotte Otto

Charlotte started piano at age 5, and from there discovered a lifelong love for performing and composing. She graduated from University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in music education, and a second bachelor’s degree in performance. During her time at Iowa, Charlotte performed in multiple ensembles, ranging from percussion ensembles, steel band, jazz ensembles, marching drumline, to concert bands and orchestras. She spent much of her time composing and arranging music for her peers to perform in their recitals and ensembles.

Charlotte enjoys working with students of all ages and has experience teaching a wide array of instruments. As an educator, she believes that everyone deserves access to music, and the opportunity to learn about it. She aims to connect with students on their personal interests and goals in order to make every lesson a positive, rewarding experience.
