Brandon holds a bachelor’s degree in jazz studies from Columbia College Chicago. He believes in teaching core musical concepts – rhythm, theory, improvisation, and technique – to students of all levels, and he customizes his approach to meet his students’ needs. Using a mix of structure, fun, and humor, he creates an engaging learning environment.
In 2005, Brandon founded the Aperion Project, a multi-genre umbrella that uses live instruments, electronic elements, improvisation and modern composition techniques.
Brandon is passionate about music and teaching, and he looks forward to working with more great students in the year ahead.
